By day, I’m an instructional technologis at a private university in NYC–a title that covers a multitude of sins. Mostly it’s faculty user support, but there’s also a fair-sized component of scripting and web administration, and a little miscellaneous server admin. I’m also working on a Ph.D. in English, although you wouldn’t know that from the writing here. In my free time, I hack around on a variety of systems, and am an occasional contributor to beginners@perl.org in addition to blogging for DownloadSquad and, every once in a while, The Unofficial Apple Weblog. You can also sometimes find me lurking on the NYCBUG lists, and one day I may make it to a meeting.
